# PeakComments Pre-Trend Intelligence
> Timestamped, source-traceable evidence of cultural movement from public comment ecosystems and short-form media.

PeakComments observes when topics, questions, jokes, complaints and narrative fragments begin recurring across public internet sources. It separates upstream publication time from PeakComments first-observed time, takes repeated engagement snapshots, derives inspectable terms and velocity, and ranks candidate signals. A candidate signal is evidence for investigation, not a guaranteed forecast.

Organisations may use an operator-provisioned bearer entitlement. The x402 agent-payment surface is prepared but disabled until approved settlement configuration is present.

The intelligence API returns derived terms, source links, timestamps, aggregate metrics, velocity and evidence class. It does not sell raw comment dumps, commenter names, commenter handles, profile links, private messages or inferred sensitive traits.

## x402 v2
Call a paid intelligence resource without a bearer entitlement. When x402 is enabled, the server responds with HTTP 402 and a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header. Sign the advertised requirement and replay the request with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. A settled request returns PAYMENT-RESPONSE.
